Stokes Book Cradle
Stokes Imaging Inc offers an attachment for digitizing fragile and rare books. The Stokes Book Cradle provides a means to fully support books which can withstand a slight pressure of glass on the surface. The page being captured is held perfectly flat, assuring sharp focus on all areas of the image. The cradle supports both the front and back of the book; hence, opening the book does not need to exceed 105 degrees. One can capture in excess of 100 pages per hour at 400 ppi.
